About Mrs. Stirn

In 2002, I graduated from Bowling Green State University with my Bachelor's Degree in Special Education. I also hold a Master's degree as a Reading Specialist. This year, I will be starting my 24th year of teaching, all of which have been as a sixth-grade intervention specialist at Springfield Middle School! 

My husband, Jerry, is also the high school math teacher for Springfield's Blended Learning Option. We have two children. Anna will be starting eighth grade, and Ryan will be starting sixth grade. We also have six pets. Mia, our Doberman, is seven, and we have our five cats, Charley, Giselle, Rocket, Cosmo, and Lincoln.

We enjoy spending the summer traveling all over. This year, we started with a family trip to Hilton Head and then cruised to the Caribbean. Both of our children enjoy learning about history, so we took a trip to our nation's capital! We also enjoy visiting our metroparks, county fairs, our zoo, biking, Cedar Point, and spending time with friends and family.
