Introduction
The purpose of the Special Education Resource Site is to provide a location for staff to find pertinent information regarding Special Education practices in the Spooner Area School District that are compliant with Wisconsin DPI Rules and Wisconsin State law. It also provides archives of training events within the district as well as monthly updates for staff to reference. It is my intent that special education staff have a "one-stop shop" for all the information they need to be successful.
Director of Pupil Services & Special Education
In my role as Director of Pupil Services & Special Education, my objective is to foster an environment in which all students succeed and special education staff members provide high quality instruction and services for our students with disabilities. I am providing my philosophy and guidance to assist staff members to achieve both. Our time is valuable and I want to increase our efficiency and capacity in order to provide more time and opportunities for what is truly important, the instruction of our students.
