Meets: Check your AV!

Have an upcoming live lesson, over Google Meet?

Did you know you can now check your device Audio & Visual settings, BEFORE you enter the lesson?

1. Click a Meet invite, your teacher has provided

   • (remember the teacher must be present, for this to work)

2. Click on the new Check your Audio and Video Option

3. Check the three items;

   • Microphone

   • Speaker

   • Camera

4. Once you are happy with the device selections, click Next

5. You can then test your settings, if you click Start it will ask you to do a short recording (this isn't stored anyway, and nobody else can see this)

6. This means you can be certain you are ready for the Meet, and able to hear the lesson clearly.... but also to check how you appear and sound on screen!
