Be enrolled full-time as a high school senior at Spokane High School
GPA of 3.50
Volunteer for a minimum of 10 hours at PTO-sponsored events throughout the school year
Submit an essay detailing the importance of community involvement

Award amount of $2,500 with 30 awards available
Every year, EGIA Foundation will award up to thirty scholarships of $2,500 each to qualified applicants pursuing HVAC technology-related courses of study who are enrolled or planning to enroll at an accredited two-year college, vocational or technical school, or other approved technical institute in the United States. This investment is intended to help reduce the shortfall of qualified workers in the home services industry while ensuring that financial issues are not a hurdle to determined young people interested in entering the industry. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale. Preference will be given to high school seniors and students aged 18-26. The first 350 applicants will be considered.

Award amounts vary with students being eligible for four of the available scholarships.
The American Association of State Troopers Foundation, Inc. accepts scholarship applications from the dependents of trooper members for assistance with their post-secondary education expenses. Dependents are defined as: child by natural birth, child legally adopted, stepchild, or child raised as a member's own (claimed as a dependent on income tax).
For a student to be eligible, their AAST member parent must have been a member in good standing for two (2) consecutive years prior to the July 31 application deadline for the year the student is applying.
