Trinity Lutheran's American Heritage Girls Troop MI2021 (in Utica) will be collecting leftover unopened halloween candy the week of October 30-Nov. 3. Please place the candy in sandwich sized sealed baggies and drop off into the bin near the office. Also, if you would like to include a small note of gratitude or draw a patriotic picture, please put those in the bin as well and they will be distributed with the candy. Our troop will then be going to Selfridge Air Force Base in November to deliver the treats to over 500 Airmen as a small token of appreciation for their service and sacrifice.

A thank you for someone who did something special for you?  Gift bags that contain gift cards worth $5 - $25 are available.  Stop in at the school office or send an email to lhouston@splschoolrichmond.org to request more information.  Just let us know how much you would like in the bag and we will do the rest for you!

Important Morning Drop Off Information!

With the increased number of students in the building this year, the lobby is becoming too chaotic in the morning. The 7:20 drop off time was put in place to accommodate our bus riders and families with special circumstances. During this time in the morning, our office staff is getting ready for the upcoming day and answering phones. Therefore, we are strongly urging you to please keep your students in the car until the 7:35 bell that allows them to walk down to their classrooms. If you have a special circumstance that necessitates your child to come into the lobby to wait for school to start, please contact the school office.

We are also continuing to work on a plan that will improve the traffic flow in our parking lots for both the morning drop off and afternoon pick-up. It will probably not happen until late November when our new door system is installed and we have additional capabilities that will allow us to utilize more than just the lobby doors.

We appreciate your cooperation and patience as we strive to make St. Peter’s safe for our students and families.
