How Projects Progress

Every project follows a similar process:

• Planning - Identify needs and secure funding.

• Design - Prepare engineering plans and permits.

• Bidding - Select a construction contractor.

• Construction - Build and inspect the improvements.

• Complete - Place the project into service.

Each project page shows its current phase and latest updates.

Funding

City projects are funded through a variety of sources, including voter-approved bonds, grants, Texas Water Development Board programs, utility revenues, and other state or federal funding opportunities.

Using multiple funding sources allows the City to complete critical improvements while responsibly managing local resources.
