Homework

HOMEWORK POLICY:

• Homework will be assigned regularly and posted to Google Classroom and our class website.

• Homework is evaluated on effort and completion and should not take more than 20 minutes to complete per assignment.

• Parents will be notified if homework completion becomes a concern.

• All homework assignments should be kept in the homework folder. The folder and independent reading books should travel back and forth each day.

• Math Home Links will be assigned consistently throughout the units. Study guides will be posted and reviewed during class prior to an assigned assessment. Students will be given ample notice and time to prepare for any assessments.

• Thinkers Tablets Writing assignments are posted monthly, one assignment per week. 

• Additional Writing and Science assignments are rarely sent home to be worked on for homework. Students are given ample time to complete assignments within the class time frame. If time is not used wisely then students will be required to finish their assignment for homework. This will be posted as a comment on their assignment in google classroom. Parental contact will also be initiated.
