Meet Laz

Laz is Grundy Center Elementary's certified therapy dog. Every school day, he helps students feel safe, confident, and ready to learn by supporting reading, emotional regulation, social connections, and positive school experiences.

Whether he is greeting students in the morning, listening to a child read, visiting classrooms, or providing comfort during challenging moments, Laz reminds us that every student deserves to feel known, valued, and supported.
