Welcome to Room 244!
Sixth grade students in Ms. Gaugler's core one class are also her homeroom students! Enrichment/Focus occurs from 9:00-9:30 for in-class (hybrid) students, while virtual students can log into zoom during Ms. Gaugler's office hours during this time. Band, chorus, and orchestra are often held during EF 9:00-9:30.
A-C Days: SRT (Sacred Reading Time)

Students will be provided a solid 10-15 minutes to read from a book of their choice. Students will keep track of pages read and summarize their reading on their SRT log.
B and D Days: SWT (Sacred Writing Time)

Students will be provided a solid 10-15 minutes to write about a topic of their choice or select from the options provided in class. We will use our writer's notebook for SWT, as well as FWF.

Students are given a topic to write about NON-STOP for two minutes. Pencils may not leave the paper!
