95+% Attendance (unless special circumstances) AND all A/B’s or 3/4’s During the previous School Year: Student Council leaders often miss class to attend meetings and events. A Kind, Respectful, and Positive Attitude: As leaders of the school, Student Council members must always display kindness, positivity, and respect to all students and staff.
Responsibility: Student Council members are expected to show punctuality, trustworthiness, and attend all meetings and student council sponsored events/fundraisers. It is expected that members are committed to regular attendance at school, Student Council meetings, and all council sponsored events. Athletics and other extra-curricular activities will NOT interfere with Student Council responsibilities. In addition, Student Council members are responsible for standing up for others and reporting student issues to their teacher or counselor.
A Passion for Leadership: Student Council is an organization for students who want to practice leadership skills. In order to become a better leader, Student Council members should be willing to try new things and step out of their comfort zones!
Timeliness: Student Council members are expected to arrive to meetings on time and meet all deadlines.

Plan and organize school events!
Service project field trips!
Ball game concession stands!
Teacher Appreciation Week activities!
Help organize and lead monthly assemblies!
Taste-testing for our school’s breakfasts and lunches!
Nominate teachers for teacher of the month!
Teach new students about our school and give them a tour!
Help with 4th Grade Tour Day!
And so much more!!!
Student Council members will miss one class period per week in order to attend meetings.
Student Council meetings will NOT interfere with other club or sport commitments.
It is the student’s responsibility to complete all class requirements when absent for meetings.
