Great Circle Empowering Youth: Homeless Teen Program
Provides shelter and critical aftercare services to help meet basic needs for homeless children, ages birth to 18, and prepares them for success on the path ahead
Emergency shelter, job training, life skills, community resources, counseling
Provides a warm, nurturing, loving environment for children 0-12 years old whose families find themselves in a crisis situation and are concerned about the safety and wellbeing of their children (i.e. loss of home/utilities, parental stress, drug/alcohol rehabilitation, emergency hospital stays, fleeing domestic violence, etc.)
Transportation, clothing, food, medical care, drop off and pick up from their school, resources, and family support
Provides a central point of entry for many of the shelters and shelter related services in the Greene, Christian, and Webster Continuum of Care geographic area
Resource directory for other social service organizations
Free and confidential services to at-risk and homeless youth ages 13-20 (up to 24 years old Tuesdays and Thursdays after 6pm)
Build positive relationships and basic needs
Develop a unique plan for that youth to gain employment, get their basic education, get their mental health stabilized, receive substance abuse treatment, and get into stable housing.
Case management services assist Rare Breed clients to navigate more severe needs including mental health, substance abuse, employment, education, and short/long term housing.
Salvation Army Harbor House Rehabilitation Program
Men in this program maintain sobriety, work towards a college education, enter the workforce, receive counseling, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, etc.
