Orchestra Awards
Concerto Competition and Performance
On the first Friday in December, any Rebel Orchestra member may submit a video for review for possible programming on the Spring Concert. If feasible, it will be performed by the Philharmonic Rebel Orchestra (depending on the level of difficulty of the Orchestral parts, and the availability of players- wind/brass/percussion). If not, it will be piano accompanied at the concert. There is a scholarship award of $350 that will go towards private lessons or a music camp.
The video will be screened by a panel of outside judges. Concertos must be accompanied by a piano for the video. Repertoire must be CONCERT READY at the time of the video.
Submit a video via an unlisted youtube link and email it to Mrs. Grant on or before the FIRST FRIDAY in December. kelsey.grant@spart5.net
