Extra Edition

There are some grades at capacity and some with openings.  Please click the link below for the 24-25 Waitlist.  You will be contacted via email when there is an available spot for your student. 

Extra Edition is our after-school program that is housed on school grounds.  Our Extra Edition staff provides an after-school setting where students can work on homework, and have fun while in a safe environment.

Extra Edition provides snack, dinner, homework time, crafts, gym time, and lots more. To enroll your child in Extra Edition, you will need to fill out the form  by following the REGISTRATION link below.  There is limited space.  When a grade level is at capacity, the registration link will be closed and a link for the waiting list will be opened.  YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED VIA EMAIL WHEN YOUR STUDENT HAS BEEN APPROVED FOR THE PROGRAM. The Extra Edition program will closely follow BSES’s policies and procedures for health and safety guidelines in the current BSES handbook and addendum.  Parents must read and agree to the terms of our program.  You will find this information located under the Parent Info. and Student Rules tabs located above.  

Please ensure that your child's teacher is aware of any changes with their dismissal arrangements (Extra Edition, Bus or Car Rider), to avoid confusion at dismissal. 

Students are dismissed at the end of the school day and report to their designated grade level homework room.  Groups are also provided time to complete homework.  Assistance is available if the students if the student needs help.  WE DO NOT PROVIDE TUTORING ASSISTANCE. We offer arts and craft activities, time in our computer labs, gym activities, and outside play time.  

Please note that there is limited availability in the Extra Edition program.  If a grade level has reached capacity, the registration link will be disabled and a waiting list link will be available.  

* REGISTRATION FEE:  $50.00 (non-refundable) fee per year, per student.  

* The cost of the program is a flat rate of $60.00 PER WEEK, PER STUDENT, regardless of the number of days the student attends.  

EXTRA EDITION NO LONGER OFFERS DAILY RATES.  

This must be paid in advance.  Extra Edition will not carry an outstanding balance for services.  

If a student arrives to Extra Edition and services have not been paid, the student(s) will be sent to the front office and must be picked up.

* All students enrolled must be able to use restroom facilities independently. 

* Students may be suspended or removed from the program for non-payment or not following the rules and guidelines of the program.

24-25 WAITLIST

ALL PAYMENTS ARE MADE ONLINE THROUGH THE CHILDSEER PROGRAM.

CHILDSEER:  Childseer is the program that we use to take attendance and collect program fees.  When your student is approved for the program, a link will be sent to you via the email address that was provided through registration.  Upon receipt of this link you will have access to your student's account.  Once you access the account, please notice that there will be a small icon on the page that indicates the account that you have accessed, whether it is the child or the adult.  Please feel free to reach out to Sherri O'Hara at sherri.ohara@spart2.org if you have any questions concerning the program.
