To set up the RingCentral applications on your devices, first clickthis link or navigate to support.ringcentral.com/s/download in your web browser. Scroll down and you should see a list of installers that looks like this:
What should I download?
RingCentral App - If you want all of the phone/video conferencing/chat functions (64-bit for SU devices)
RingCentral Meetings - If you just want video conferencing
RingCentral Phone Desktop - If you just want to make/receive phone calls
RingCentral Phone Mobile - the equivalent of the RingCentral App for iOS/Android
To get started, download and run the installer(s) for your PC or Mac. When the installations are complete, you can sign into the RingCentral App with your SU email.
RingCentral Phone Desktop is needed if you need to have an additional number forwarded to your phone.
For the best experience using RingCentral in Google Calendar, install RingCentral Meetings in addition to the RingCentral App.
PLEASE DO NOT CONNECT TO VPN WHEN SIGNING INTO RINGCENTRAL.
You’ll be redirected to an additional login where you will enter your email and your password. You will need to do this for each app you install.
