Required: All 9th grade students
Course Description: Physical science is a full-year course, in which students will engage in the scientific and engineering practices outlined in the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) to master earth science and physical science content. This course is taught at a conceptual level where we work to relate the mechanisms of change in physical science to the earth and its place in the universe. Students will learn skills to analyze data and graphs, take precise measurements, improve reading comprehension, and build on verbal and written communication skills.
