Honors Algebra 1

Algebra I is a course made up of three intertwined, inseparable strands. In this course students will learn the language and symbolism of algebra, develop the ability to perform calculations using the symbols of algebra, and simultaneously apply their knowledge of the language and their computational ability to the development of problem-solving processes. Some of the topics covered in this course include: equations, systems, inequalities, exponents, polynomials, factoring, and functions.
