Eng I & Eng II EOC Student Room Assignments

 WHAT TO BRING ON TEST DAY:

• School-issued laptop to take the test. Laptops must be fully charged. Students will NOT be able to charge their laptops before or during the test. If you are BYOD, a Chromebook will be in your testing room the day of the exam. 

• Snacks in small individual bags to eat during testing breaks (Goldfish, pretzels, crackers, etc., no messy snacks)

• Bottle of water

• Sack lunch

• Student ID and pencils

 TEST DAY INFORMATION:

• Testing will start promptly at 8:00 a.m.

• Cell phones, smart watches and smart glasses are NOT allowed and must be turned off and remain in your backpack.

• Please provide a sack lunch for your student, no lunches will be served in the cafeteria. Students will NOT be released from classrooms to pick up food or beverages from the drop off table. Students will eat lunches in their testing rooms when testing is complete.

• Shuttle buses will run at 1:44 p.m. between campuses and NO student dismissals until testing is completed. Testing is estimated to be finished by 1:44 p.m.

CHS TESTING TRAFFIC:

Please note that students will need to arrive early and be on campus prior to 7:45 a.m. as traffic will be busy with all 1400 students trying to arrive at the same time. This is at least 400 more students than a typical morning at CHS.

Schedule for CHS STAAR EOC English 1 & English 2:

8:00 a.m. – 1:44 p.m. (STAAR EOC English 1 & English 2 Testing & Lunch)

1:56 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. (8th Block)
