Registration for AP Exams in Yearlong and First-Semester courses open FRIDAY September, 4th 2026, at 8:00 a.m. and closes on October 25, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. AP Exams will be held May 3rd-May 14th, 2027.

👉 Important: Please DO NOT register or pay for Second Semester-Only courses this Fall 2026. Registration for Second Semester-Only courses will open on January 11, 2027.

👉 Important: All AP exams are now digital or hybrid. Students must have the College Board Bluebook App installed on their testing device. If your student has taken the PSAT or SAT, the app should already be installed. If not, it can be downloaded here: https://bluebook.app.collegeboard.org.

AP Exam Registration is a Two-Step Process

Step 1 – College Board (Students Only):

·         Enroll in each AP course using the Join Codes provided by your AP teachers or listed in Total Registration when you enroll.

·         Go to https://myap.collegeboard.org and click “Sign In.”

·         If you’ve taken the PSAT, SAT, or an AP exam before, you already have an account. If you don’t remember your password, reset it, please do not create a new account.

·         If you are creating an account for the first time, use your personal email address (not a parent’s email or your Carroll ISD email) and register with your full legal name.

Step 2 – Total Registration (Students & Parents):

·         Register and pay for exams at https://user.totalregistration.net/AP/442963.

·         Here you will indicate the exams you wish to take.

·         Exam fees may be paid online. Please have a debit card or credit card ready before beginning registration. Paying online ensures that your payment is processed immediately and eliminates the need to mail payments.

·         Students who have taken the PSAT or an AP exam in Carroll ISD already have a Total Registration account. If you forgot your password, please reset it. If you forgot the email you used, please contact charissa.solis@southlakecarroll.edu - do not create a duplicate account.

·         If you need a new account, use the student’s email address and full legal name when creating it.

Important Dates and Deadlines

Registration fees:

§ Standard Registration: September 4th- October 5th $103

§ Late Registration: October 6th-October 18th $20 late fee ($123 per exam)

§ Final Registration: October 19th- October 25th $70 late fee (173 per exam)
