Writer’s Workshop follows the same model as reading. I will start the lesson with a mini lesson, then the students will have independent writing time, and then we will have a time for sharing.
At the beginning of the year I will teach the students the cursive alphabet. I typically show the students a new letter each day, and then they practice it at home.
