TIPS
1.All exercises should be supervised by an parent or guardian
2.Perform all activities in a safe environment
3.Perform all activities as directed by your therapist
4.If your child experience’s pain or uncomfortable breathing stop the activity and notify your therapist

Stand with your feet shoulder width apart with hands by your side.
Lift both heels off the ground simultaneously while keeping your toes on the ground
And slowly lower your heel down to the floor

Bring arms outward to level of your shoulders
Make big circles FORWARDS with your arms. Repeat BACKWARDS
Make small circles FORWARDS with your arms. Repeat BACKWARDS

Bring arms outward to level of your shoulders
Reach with your RIGHT hand towards your LEFT foot as far as you can reach without bending your knees
Reach with your LEFT hand towards your RIGHT foot as far as you can reach without bending your knees. Note: Remember “not too fast”

Jump forwards and backwards over a line on the floor or jump into and out of a hula hoop
Or jump forwards and backwards on lily pads or other markers

Note: Lily pads should not be slippery or you may choose to place lily pads on the carpet
Other ways you could use the lily pads:
- Write alphabet letters on them, spread them around the room ,and then hop to the different letters.
- Write sight words or other basic words you are working on learning (word family words, people's names, etc.)
- Write rhyming word pairs on the lily pads. Write one rhyming word on each lily pad. Have kids hop from one word to the other word that rhymes with that word (ex. hop... and stop)
Jump from marker to marker ___5-20____ times (forwards backwards sideways)
Tip
Learning is way more fun when it is hands on and active! Language learning is especially more effective when it is paired with physical activity
