Caroline Demers is a senior undergraduate student majoring in psychology at the University of South Alabama. After graduation, she will pursue graduate studies in clinical and counseling psychology. Caroline’s interests include: bipolar disorder comorbidity; access to mental health services in rural areas; and the prevalence of spiritual/religious psychosis in the Bible Belt. 

Haley Hearn graduated from the University of South Alabama in 2024 with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She is currently a second year student in the Behavior and Brain Science Master's Program. Her research primarily focuses on the relationship between narcissism and memory. She plans to become a Clinical Psychologist in the hopes of providing care to individuals with limited access to evidence-based mental health treatment.  

Emily Maher graduated from the University of South Alabama in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She is a second year in the Behavior and Brain Science Master's program. Her research primarily focuses on parenting, emotion regulation, anxiety, and coping skills in emerging adult populations. She currently serves as the graduate lab manager for the TRAC lab.

Amanda Neal (she/they) is a 2nd year graduate student in the Clinical and Counseling Psychology Program at the University of South Alabama. She completed a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies - Neuroscience at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. There she worked as a research assistant with the Infant Language and Perceptual Learning Lab. After graduating, she worked at Duke University in Duke's Early Experiences and the Developing Brain Lab and at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While at UNC, she worked with Dr. Clare Harrop on her Sex and Gender in Autism Study and with the Infant Brain Imaging Study. Amanda is primarily interested in exploring access to care for underserved populations with a focus on improving diagnostics and care services for rural autistic people and their families. Amanda is currently the graduate research coordinator for the MRF grant in the TRAC Lab. 

Robyn Nelson is a senior undergraduate at the University of South Alabama. She is majoring in Psychology and Criminal Justice. Robyn plans to further her education and pursue a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. Robyn hopes to use her education to provide mental health services to those who are in Correctional Facilities.
