The TRAC Lab is actively recruiting interested undergraduate research assistants. See Join the Team for how to apply!
Our Lab website is currently under construction at this time. We thank you for your patience while we get up and running!
The TRAC Lab aims to: 1) Investigate the underlying processes that are responsible for the development and maintenance of anxiety related conditions across time, and act as barriers to effective treatment, and 2) Adapt treatments to target those processes to increase effectiveness of evidence based practices for anxiety related conditions.
Constructs of current interest: Misophonia, Avoidance (traditional and non-traditional versions), Attention to threat, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Emotion Regulation, and Intolerance of Uncertainty.
Our values are running rigorous and ethical research which requires two key components. First, an environment of inclusivity where students and participants are supported and respected. Second, a focus on accountability, responsibility, and integrity to both the field of clinical psychology and students that will be the field's future.
Our mission is to conduct research on transdiagnostic processes to elucidate our understanding of anxiety related conditions, and ultimately increase effectiveness of identification, assessment, and treatment.
Our vision is to facilitate the advancement of how the field studies, targets, and effectively addresses the underlying issues associated with anxiety related conditions.
Our lab is dedicated to providing research opportunities for both graduate and undergraduate students. Keep up here with all that is happening in our lab, including student accomplishments and other lab updates.
