Collaborators

Dr. Kevin White is a professor emeritus, who is an expert in decentralized wastewater treatment, fate of pharmaceuticals and personal care products in wastewater treatment, engineered wetland systems for both wastewater and storm water treatment, reuse of treated wastewater, stormwater treatment, highway runoff, and low impact development systems. He will provide technical support and consultant service for technology transfer and implementation.

Mobile Baykeeper is a non-profit organization that is advocate for the Mobile Bay Watershed and Coastal Alabama, protecting clean water, clean air, and healthy communities. They will assist water sampling, sensor implementation for microplastics monitoring, and outreach activities.

Osprey Initiative LLC is a Gulf coast regional company that uses patented technology to collect marine debris data to determine sources and solutions. They will assist research team to collect water samples and implement the microplastics reduction technologies in the Gulf coast area.
