Description of the Instructional Strategy:

Tutorials are videos or written instructions to help someone learn a new task. You just have to type in what you need to get a tutorial on. 

Advantage: 

1. It can go step by step over what the information needed is in the technology. If a student needs a more detailed explanation they could watch a more detailed video. 

2. Tutorials can provide better explanation regarding a topic especially if it is needed for review. If a student needs a tutorial review regarding a subject it can greatly help them. 

Disadvantage: 

1. It can distract students. A student could say they didn’t understand the video over and over and then keep watching it just to watch it so they do not have to complete the assignment. 

2. Some technology in this category can be used to write essays for students. Students then misuse these resources to plagiarize their work.

The videos can be watched anytime and anywhere. This is a great way to use technology to help the students to better understand a certain topic or subject you are teaching that week or even that month.

OpenLearning has all kinds of videos for learning that students and teachers can have access to. There is this thing called OpenCreds where you can learn all kinds of new skills from a bunch of stackable online courses aligned with Australia's framework for lifelong learning.

With this software you can screenshot and screen capture different pictures and videos to create a tutorial with those screenshots and videos. You can easily edit the videos you make with all kinds of different software.It is quick and easy to use. You can use it anywhere, you can share from anywhere.

Tiktok is a social media app that allows users to submit videos that range from three seconds to sixty seconds. Tutorials are a common type of video seen across this social media app. Tiktok has tutorials on how to solve math problems, explaining historical content, saying cite words for an English class, and even explaining science formulas. The tutorials can help students understand the material in their classes by going through each step.

Google Forms allows a question to explain each step in a tutorial for a person. For example, each of the questions can walk a person through on how to change a tire or how to tie a tie. Each question goes into detail for each step and how to go about it.

Wikihow is a website that provides written tutorials on how to perform a task. This is a good tutorial website for someone who would like to use a guide that involves reading instead of a video.

ChatGPT is an AI website that gives answers to problems. This AI website allows a person to type in what they need a tutorial on and the website will give explicit instructions on what it is they need to do. However, this source can be misused when it comes to education.
