Cooperative learning is demonstrated when students work together to accomplish tasks, assignments, and projects. Cooperative learning promotes interactions, positive interdependence, individual/group accountability, group processing, and interpersonal social skills. When this strategy is well structured with rules in place, students should be able to come together in order to complete the desired outcome. In Cooperative Learning, group members usually work on individual/shared tasks or take on specific responsibilities in order to complete the objective and/or desired outcome.
