Some of our Year 1 students participated in the National Library Board (NLB) Prove it! contest 2025. Jointly organised by the NLB and supported by the Ministry of Education, this inter-school contest aims to equip students with news and information literacy (IL) skills along with instilling in them the confidence to become effective IL ambassadors. Teams in the written and video category submitted both an investigative article and a short newsreel video. 91 teams participated in 2025.
Congratulations to two of our participating teams comprising of four Year 1 students.
Team 1 (Gold Award): Lim Jia En (R1), Viviana Suji (R2), Elyse Leong (R4), Steffi Eng (R5)
Team 2 (Silver Award): Lauren Huang (R2), Natanya Ho (R5), Florence Tan (R6) and Maris Wong (R8).

Teams in the written and video category submitted either an investigative article or a short newsreel video. 59 teams participated in 2024, with a combined advocacy reach of more than 26,000 done by the teams.
Congratulations to two of our participating teams comprising of four Year 1 students. For the written category, congratulations to Vidushi Krishna [Team leader], Anushka Jain, Ashlee Aurelia Bose and Noju-slattery Sora Lillian for attaining the Silver Award. For the video category, congratulations to Penelope Julienne Chua [Team leader], Aurelia-Ann Quek, Liz Lau, and Jewel Chow Zi Tong for obtaining the champion award.
