From May to July, 5 SOTA teams have taken part in the NTU Social Science Challenge 2025. This platform empowers students to explore real-world challenges through an interdisciplinary social science lens, encouraging them to think critically and propose innovative, research-based solutions that matter.
The purpose of the challenge is to write a policy memo and create a policy pitch to address the different demographic needs in Singapore. These issues include educational inequality, racial discrimination, violence in youths, and mental health and stigma.
A key component of the policy pitch is the public voting segment, where everyone is welcome to vote.
Please check out the policy pitches below and if any of the following issues interest or resonate with you, do consider casting your vote to any 3 out of any 5 teams of your choice!
The voting closes on 18 July this Friday at 11:59pm!
