Through this exploration, we will gain insights into the significance of long-term planning and collective action in steering Singapore towards a resilient, thriving future.

Read the description of the learning journeys below.
Select your top 2 choices and the selection form will be open on 7 May 2024, Tuesday, 2100.
With limited capacity for each LJ, slots are allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis.
If your choice of LJ is fully subscribed, you will be allocated the next available LJ.
Submit them latest by 14 May 2024, Tuesday, 2100.

Singapore’s Changi Airport has lost its pole position as the world’s best airport to Doha’s Hamad International Airport in 2024, according to air transport rating firm Skytrax. But can it remain competitive and regain its position as number 1? This tour take you to explore the beauty of Changi Airport and how it developed to become a world-class transportation hub since it was built in 1981. Be engaged in stories of how Singapore Changi Airport developed, learn the key features of the airport that make it the world's best airport, and discover many interesting facts about Jewel.

Journey B) Sky Greens: How does Singapore ensure food security?

This tour will allow you to visit the world’s first organic and zero-carbon vertical farm. Explore the vertical farm, a fish farm, and understand how innovation and technology can help Singapore achieve the “30 by 30” food security goal featured in the Singapore Green Plan 2030.

Journey C) URA: Is Singapore planned and designed for the future?

This tour will bring you to the URA Gallery where you will learn more about how Singapore was transformed from a fledging nation in the 1960s to one of the most liveable cities in Asia. The gallery features urban planning challenges and the innovative solutions that tackle them. It examines how strategic planning allows Singapore to achieve economic, social, and environmental sustainability.

Journey D) Food, Arts and Heritage trail: How does Singapore preserve its food culture, arts scene and local heritage amidst economic growth?

Guided by the Year 4 seniors, this learning trail will share the story of local artists, hawkers, and heritage stewards in Singapore. In the process, participants will be exposed to various governmental policies and local responses regarding the preservation of the arts, food culture, as well as offering a closer look at the heritage of the neighbourhood of Little India.
