Supplementary Intake Exercise Period

If you did not apply during the Indication of Interest Period, you may still apply during the SIE application period. Application may open if vacancies are available and may open for selected art forms only. You must be posted to Group 3 to apply. 

(A) PSLE Result Release Day (between 24 November to 26 November)

(1) Items to upload directly into the TA Portal Application Form

a. ONE Passport-sized colour photo

• Sample of passport-sized photo

• Do not upload a full-length photo

Format: JPEG

Size: 2MB max

(2) Items to upload in Google Drive

a. Music Creating 

1. Composition portfolio consisting of 

• audio recordings in MP3 format, and 

• scores/visual representation in PDF format 

2. video - principal instrument (5 min max)

b. Music Performance

1. Video - 2 performances (10 min max)

c. Both tracks

1. Music scores (pdf)

d. Academic Results

1. PSLE result slip

2. Primary 6 Prelim results

3. Mother Tongue Language-in-Lieu Letter issued by MOE (if applicable)

4. Mother Tongue Language Exemption Letter issued by MOE (if applicable)

e. Applicant's Identification Document

• Singaporean: Birth Certificate or Citizenship Certificate; Deed Poll (if any)

• Singapore Permanent Resident: Passport and Re-Entry Permit

• Foreigners: Passport and Student Pass or Dependant Pass

(3) Instruction:

• Save all items into 1 folder.

• Save the folder as the applicant's full name. 

• Upload the folder to Google Drive. 

• Set the folder's access to 'Anyone with the link can view'. 

• Paste the  shared link of the folder in the Supporting Documents and Portfolio Submission for Music section of the application form in the TA Portal.

(B) Frequently Asked Questions

What if I am not posted to Group 3? 

You may not proceed with your SIE application. Please participate in MOE's S1 Posting Exercise instead.

What if I am not shortlisted to attend the SIE? 

You will proceed to participate in MOE's S1 Posting Exercise.
