(1) 1-minute Solo Dance Performance
A recording of you performing a solo dance of any dance genre.
If the dance choreography requires a dance partner, only you will be assessed. Highlight which dancer you are in the video.
Include at least one kick1, one jump2 and travelling across the floor*.
Attire: Appropriate dance practice gear, or plain form-fitting top and shorts (refer to (3) below).
You will be assessed on:
Range of movement of joints
Coordination
Performance and musicality
* If the dance choreography or the genre of dance chosen does not have a kick, jump and/or travelling across the floor, you may include the movements separately at the end of your 1-minute solo recording.
1 A kick must show the highest either of your legs can kick to.
2 A jump would be from two legs and landing on either one or two legs.

Record a video of you performing the dance exercise.
(3) Two Recent 4R-sized Full Length Photographs - Frontal and Profile Poses
Ballet Attire
Female
Leotard - any colour
convertible ballet tights or leggings - cut out at the soles
ballet/dance slippers
hair pulled away from the face and neatly tied into a bun
Male
Form-fitting sleeveless top - any colour
opaque coloured tights/bicycle shorts
white socks - lightweight sport socks - above ankle, below calf muscle
canvas ballet flats/dance slippers
hair neatly groomed
Form Fitting Attire
Applicants who do not own a leotard must be attired in a form-fitting sleeveless top and leggings or bicycle shorts.
Applicants who do not own ballet/dance slippers must wear socks as alternative footwear.
Hair neatly groomed. For female applicants, hair pulled away from the face and neatly tied into a bun.
