I personally understand that this stage of life brings unique challenges--hot flashes, night sweats, brain fog, weight changes, low energy, and mood shifts. At 45 years old I started noticing subtle changes-weight gain, belly fat, bloating, irregular cycles, hormonal acne and even the embarrasing chin hair!

When I turned 50, my symptoms worsened. My periods were heavy, my PMS intense! I was irritable and anxious with racing thoughts and heart palpitations. I was also experiencing brain fog and memory issues-stumbling over words and losing my sharpness. My light had dimmed. I didn't feel like myself! 

By the time I was 53, I was deep in the trenches of hot flashes, night sweats, nighttime wakings and poor sleep. I was exhausted and had no motivation, but I knew I had to make changes. Over several months, the adjustments I made to my nutrition and lifestyle started to improve my symptoms. I'm here to tell you that it doesn't happen overnight. It's not perfection or extremes, it's consistency and balance. Today I can say that my symptoms are rare.
