Hello, I'm Jakob Monterrey Seitchik and I'm a sophmore at Sonoma Academy. I am the designer behind the 2-button switch and the glasses sip and puff controller. This is my first time trying to create simple but effective adaptive controllers and if you want the design or have feedback feel free to email me.

Materials
Arduino Leonardo (x1)
Breadboard (x1)
Heat shrink tubing
Code
CAD
Wiring the tactile push buttons:
Left button:
Connect one leg of the button to digital pin 2 on the breadboard
Connect the other leg of the button to GND (ground) on the breadboard
Right button:
Connect one leg of the button to digital pin 3 on the breadboard
Connect the other leg of the button to GND (ground) on the breadboard
here is a wiring diagram to show how to wire the arduino and the buttons
This project takes a pretty large amount of sautering and heatshrinking materials to complete. I think in total you need to sauter 14 wires together assumimg everything goes well. while you don't technically have to use heat shrinking it will help protect the sautered wires which can be weak if not done correctly so if you have the materials it's very useful.
as you can see you need to sauter the extended wires onto these bigger wires that fit together and interface with the hub.
follow the instructions given in the video and everything will be loaded onto your arduino, just make sure your arduino is connected to your computer before you start.
Materials
8 springs of equal height and strength ( using stronger springs makes more satisfying click but is slightly harder to get the click out.
hot glue gun
CAD
Print out 2 of the STL file named button holder (first link in the above build instructions
print out 2 of the STL files named hand switch ( second link in the above build instructions
Heat up hot glue gun and heat up then put the glue in the holes and quickly add the springs in befor the glue sets repeat with both button holders until you fill all the holes.
pretty simple no need to glue it down just make sure its centered
wire both buttons with the extended wires you made earlier and make sure you follow the wiring instructions I gave then you should be ready to use it
Materials
pair of sunglasses
an MPX 5010DP Pressure Sensor (x1)
1 tube that can fit in your mouth
