Meet the Engineer

Leif Warnelius-Miller

Hi, my name is Leif Warnelius-Miller. I live in California and am currently a junior at Sonoma Academy High School. I’ve been interested in engineering since I was young and have been lucky to have the tools and space at home to explore and grow. My dad has always taught me to focus on finding solutions and to keep working until I solve the problem.

At school, the Design for Social Good class has given me the tools, support, and creative freedom to work on the kinds of projects I love. It has helped me turn my ideas into real, hands-on solutions and deepen my passion for using engineering to make a difference.
