This required one-quarter course for all sophomores explores what it means to be an engaged local and global citizen. Students learn from Sonoma Academy's partner organizations around the world while applying those lessons through a hands-on community engagement project closer to home.

Each year, local non-profit organizations come to Sonoma Academy to share their missions, impact, and opportunities for involvement. The fair helps students discover causes they care about and connect with organizations embedded in our community.

Community Engagement Day is a school-wide celebration of learning, community, and connection. Through keynote speakers, workshops led by community partners, volunteer opportunities, and off-campus experiences, students spend the day engaging directly with the people and organizations shaping our county.
