Electronic Data Interchange – EDI provides a standardized system for transfer of structured data from one computer system to another without the need for printed orders and invoices. Delays and errors involved in paper handling are avoided. EDI is used by organisations that make a large number of regular transactions.
Internet Commerce – It refers to buying and selling of goods and services. It can be used for all the phases or only for a part of the trade cycle. The internet commerce has application for B2B and B2C transactions.
