Orders - E-commerce facilitates placement of orders by the buyers. on receipt of the order, the seller processes the order. Once the order is processed, the seller delivers the product to the customer. the seller must undertake proper order management.
Logistics – After the processing of order, the seller has to pass on the order details to the logistics team. The logistics team sees to it that the products are delivered to the customers in given time. The logistics department handles various activities like packing, tracking and delivering the products to the customers
Payment – The payment system is a mechanism that facilitates dialogue between the parties involved in financial transactions: the bank, the store and the customer with their debit/credit card. When a customer puts in his debit/credit card number after ordering a product, the bank checks the customer’s account and decides whether to authorize the payment or no.
Consumer research – Large e-marketers conduct consumer research to obtain feedback on the satisfaction level of customers. The e-marketers may also obtain suggestions about improving the product.
