THIS DESIGN IDEA RELATES TO STACKING LAYERS TO TRANSITION INTO A NEW FORM
1. Find a Dynamic Texture (Wood)
2. Stack that Texture Layer on itself until you have 30- 40 Layers (Very each texture piece slightly so that each piece is unique: Size, direction, position. PLACE LAYERS INTO PHOTOSHOP GROUP.
Adjust Light & Shadow for Gradient
3. Import a Profile Portrait and place on its own Layer
4. Duplicate GROUP Folder and move pieces to fit edge of Profile
5. Repeat #4 until you achieve Desired Depth of facial forms (Eyebrows, Lips , Cheek Bones
Adjust Hues to create Dynamic, unique finish
Alternative Design
Step 1
Find Profile Portrait and Plank of wood Images
(plank = contrast and texture
Remove background (Magic wand) and stack the wood (overlap layers - Ctrl J)
Step 2
Arrange the wood along the edge of the profile Use the Arrow Tool
Tip: Turn off each wood layer then turn them on one at a time as you arrange them to make this less confusing)
Select all of your wood layers in your layer pallet
Click on the top wood layer, scroll down to you bottom wood layer, hold your shift and click on that layer, CLICK on the Folder Icon at the bottom of your layer pallet.
Step 3: Creating Form
Take one of your wood plank layers with drop shadow and condense it.
stack along profile > Select all place in folder
next take same condensed plank and stack this time along eyeline profile > Select all place in folder
Repeat for Nostril, lips, cheekbone, ears, hair line until forms begins to appear
