What is College Credit Plus (CCP)?
What is College Credit Plus (CCP)?
College Credit Plus (CCP) is Ohio’s dual enrollment program that provides students in grades 7-12 the opportunity to earn college and high school credits at the same time by taking courses from Ohio colleges or universities. The purpose of this program is to enhance students’ career readiness and postsecondary success, while providing a wide variety of options to college-ready students, at little or no cost to students and families.
The CCP Intent to Participate Form must be submitted by April 1st for the student to be considered for eligibility to participate in CCP for the upcoming academic year (Summer, Fall, and Spring). Students who do not submit the form by the April 1st deadline may still submit an Intent to Participate Form by November 1st for the Spring term ONLY. Students who have previously participated in this program MUST submit a new Intent to Participate Form each year. Students who fail to submit this form before the due date will be responsible for paying (Self-Pay) for the course and related fees.
CCP Courses Taught at Solon High School
Solon High School currently offers the following College Credit Plus courses with the partnering institution in parentheses. Students taking any of the CCP courses at SHS that are listed below must be fully registered with the college (forms, orientation, etc.) by Monday of the first week of school. Failure to be fully registered with the college will result in the student being dropped from the course.

Counseling Information for College Credit Plus Participation
The subject matter of a course enrolled in under the college credit plus program may include mature subject matter or materials, including those of a graphic, explicit, violent, or sexual nature, that will not be modified based upon college credit plus enrollee participation regardless of where course instruction occurs. (Ohio Revised Code 3365.035)
