1 of the 3 works will be scored at 100 points (Solon Procedures + AP Rubric)

• Begin by directly responding to the prompts (pasted below). For example, "The central idea of my concentration is..." and "My work demonstrates my intent of... My work demonstrates sustained investigation of my central idea which is...by..." It sounds obvious, but it works!
• Refer to specific visual evidence in the work submitted to describe how the work does demonstrate the stated intent and sustained investigation of the central idea. Use "For example..."
• Criteria from the scoring rubric can be used to directly support a response to the prompts. Write about those that are most relevant to and clearly demonstrated by the work (I pasted some "contenders" from the rubric below).
• Review the statement to make sure it aligns well with the work submitted and offers insight about the central idea, sustained investigation, and how the sustained investigation was done (and is shown in the work, giving examples). "Why?" (intent) is a good question to address, too - relating the "how" and "why" is even better!
• Consider relational writing, like, "I used...because/in order to..."; "I experimented with...and then... (what happened?)"; "I attempted to engage the viewer by..."; "I developed skills using...by...as seen in..."; "I learned..."
• Think of the sustained investigation statements as telling a clear, concise story of how the central idea was investigated over time, as shown in the work.
• Look at successful statements on AP Central to learn more about effectively articulating ideas shown in sustained investigation work. Here are a few that do reference 2-D elements and principles:
