There are three (3) programs available that might support students in pursuing their career goals and their educational goals
On Site Concurrent Enrollment Courses - Solon High School Faculty that meet community college faculty credentials are recognized as adjunct faculty, adhere to the approved KCC syllabus and offer the college-level course within the high school's regular schedule. Upon completion, students receive both high school credit and college credit for their course work.

KCC High School Academy Programs - Kirkwood Regional Center @ The University of Iowa
Kirkwood Community College’s Academy Programs are a sequence of career focused, college credit classes that often lead to industry-recognized skills or certification. Regional Center Academy’s are held at the Kirkwood Regional Center located on the campus of The University of Iowa Research Park. Click below for more information on the 2024 - 2025 academy offerings. A one-year commitment is required for the student wanting to take an academy!
