KA and KB Home learning
1- Read and look at the golden week instructions and art works. Make your 4 drawings in pencil on paper.
2 - After you made four drawings of memorable events in your life - color them with crayons or colored pencil on your paper.
3- After you colored them choose your favorite and draw it on the canvas I sent you today for art class.
4- Next week we will paint it in class.
Don't forget to bring the canvas back so we can paint it in class.
PS I am sorry our mother's day present of the clay you made will have to be the father's day present. Let's be flexible.

When you get back to school we will do a painting on real canvas about one of these events in your life. So today please draw some.

Parents Please buy a smock or art apron to cover clothes. We don't want to share at this time.
SMOCK Please wash them every few weeks or weekly depending on the project. You can order this all online but there are so many choices depending on age and preference.
I think parent/ student personal choice to protect clothes is fine.
POSCA Also to help supply our Art baskets please get some wide Bold 8mm chisel top paint Posca markers. 8 Pack.
I think the easiest place to buy Posca is at Conan. But here are some pictures below we found online.
Buying at Conan or Ayahadio is maybe the best option.

TIPS
Don't use too much glue
Put your name on it in a creative way
Collect other fun things to glue on the box, you can even put things in the inside.
You could even make the box into an animal if you like to.

Goal
Make an imaginative Artwork and or story with Pictures to show a feeling you had over Spring Break and choose a color or two that matches this feeling.
Instructions
First Read or watch Dr. Seuss My Many Colored Days discuss with Mrs. Henbest
In art it is important to be able to express our feelings.
Draw some pictures in your journal about how you were feeling during your spring break.
Choose one or two colors to show your feelings. See a few random famous artworks below.
Make a creative artwork using materials you have at home to show your ideas and feelings.
Show Mrs. Henbest your artwork on your next zoom Art class.
Tips
Use various materials that you have at home. Spend some time using your hands don't rush.
Use solid colors if you can and make unique textures with whatever material you are using.
