Occupational Therapy

Our licensed occupational therapists (OT's) focus on assisting children with sensory, physical, and cognitive challenges to be as independent as possible in all areas of life. Occupational therapists worrk with parents, caregivers, and othere professionals to evaluate the needs of children with developmental delays, sensory processing and mental impairments to provide a comprehensive and holistic trreratment plan to maximize their performance in their natural environments including home, school, and community settings. The therapists can assist kids with various needs to improve their cognitive, physical, sensory, and motor skills and enhance their self-esteeem. We use a variety of treatment approaches including sensory integration, therapeutic listening, and the astronaut program to improve their functioning to accomplish their goals.
