Helping Metabolic Disease Patients by Understanding Basic Biological Mechanisms Through Neuroscience Technologies.

We conduct translational studies that leverage the unique experimental strengths of animal model studies and clinical trials. In animal models, surgical models, drug injection models, disease models, and genetic manipulation models that can directly identify biological mechanisms. Through research on human samples, it is possible to directly analyze the location and expression levels of pathologic causes. Through clinical trials, questionnaires, cognitive tests and neuroimaging are used to investigate the neuronal mechanisms. Finally, through clinical trials, the clinical efficacy of the novel treatments can be validated.
