Back End Developer

JOB SUMMARY/OVERVIEW

Develop and maintain scalable web and application solutions using the MERN stack. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle—from design and architecture to testing and deployment. Write and execute test cases, conduct code reviews, and contribute to process improvements while addressing complex technical challenges with scalable, maintainable solutions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• • Serve as a mid-level developer with a focus on the MERN stack (TypeScript, NestJS, JavaScript, NodeJS, MongoDB, ExpressJS, ReactJS).

  • Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain web and application-based solutions.

  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle and assist in process improvement initiatives.

  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership when needed.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

  • Write and execute test cases to ensure product quality.

  • Contribute to platform design and architecture by developing scalable and flexible solutions to complex technical challenges.

  • Participate in code reviews to uphold code quality and promote best practices.

  • Conduct feasibility analysis and optimize project planning through detailed technical assessments.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• • Experience building high-performance, large-scale, distributed server applications.

  • Proficient in backend programming using JavaScript (NodeJS); familiarity with other languages such as Java, C#, Python, or PHP is a plus.

  • Strong commitment to writing clean, maintainable code.

  • Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet project deadlines.

  • Excellent logical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Candidates must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post-Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Required language: English.

  • With minimum of 3 years experience in backend or full-stack development, or equivalent.

  • Preferably at the Junior Executive level specializing in IT/Computer Software or related disciplines.

  • Must be available to start immediately
