Resources

  • Annenberg Learner: Teacher resources across all grade levels and subject areas. Includes interactive pages, lesson plans, videos, and interactives.
  • California Streaming: Video, images, and audio resources across grade levels and curriculum organized by topics and standards.
  • CK-12: Create digital textbooks for your students utilizing free online resources.
  • Common Sense Education: Common Sense Education is known for their digital citizenship, but that is not all that they have. They also have EdTech ratings and reviews for teachers.
  • National Archives Docs Teach: Online materials to teach with primary source documents from the National Archives. Materials include primary sources and activities for classroom use.
  • Khan Academy: Tutorials for students across grade levels and subject areas including computer science and test prep.
  • Library of Congress: Teachers and students can access digital materials available through the Library of Congress including primary sources, images, and audio. The site includes professional development materials for teachers.
  • Pics4Learning.com: A curated image library that is safe and free for education. Teachers and students can use the copyright-friendly photos and illustrations for classroom projects, web sites, videos, portfolios, or any other projects in an educational setting.
  • Project Gutenberg: Free eBooks with a focus on older works whose copyright has expired.
  • Scholastic Go!: Access educational videos, world news, and an atlas for classroom use.
  • Storynory: Access free audio including fairy tales, classics, educational stories, myths and world stories, stories for younger children, and poems and music.
  • Teachingbooks.net: A collection of resources to partner with novels and other stories in the classroom.
  • Unite for Literacy: Short narrated stories in a variety of languages for lower grade levels organized by topic.
