As part of the offer that Snowfields Pathfinders will provide, students will have the opportunity to complete work experience in the local community. Students will be encouraged and facilitated by the Pathfinders team and will learn independent working skills. 

Students will complete a work experience diary as part of their placement which provides prompts to help them reflect upon what they have learned during their work experience, alongside some top tips on how to create the right impression while on their placement.

Students will be supported by staff throughout their placement including using public transport, school buses, appropriate interactions and their wellbeing. 

Work placements will happen for one day per week - students may have one or more placements during the year depending on the courses they wish to pursue. 

Placements will be arranged by the school - however, if students have a contact that they wish to work with, the school will support them in making contact and following the correct procedures.
