In English 4A, students focus on reading and analyzing a variety of texts, including nonfiction. They will examine satire, irony, and understatement, explore archetypes, and compare how similar central ideas are developed across different texts. Students will also analyze nuances of meaning based on context to deepen their interpretive skills. Through written analysis and reflection, students will strengthen their critical thinking and ability to engage thoughtfully with complex texts. All topics align with Idaho State Standards and support continued growth as analytical and effective communicators.
