From March 12–15, we traveled to New York City for an inspiring dance tour filled with meaningful learning and unforgettable experiences.
During our trip, students took classes at Broadway Dance Center and participated in a Horton technique class at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. They also had the exciting opportunity to take a masterclass from MJ the Musical with Brandon Lavar, giving them direct insight into professional Broadway performance and style.
We attended two incredible performances: Maybe Happy Ending and Compagnie Hervé Koubi at The Joyce Theater. Both performances offered unique perspectives on storytelling and movement, leaving a lasting impression on our dancers.
In addition to our dance experiences, we explored some of New York City's most iconic landmarks, including Central Park, Times Square, Radio City Music Hall, Fifth Avenue, Top of the Rock, and Chelsea Market.
On March 22, our dancers competed at the Sharp International Dance Competition.
