Agriculture Biology is a one-year course aligned to meet the graduation requirements in Life Science. Using agriculture as the learning vehicle, the course will emphasize the principles, central concepts, and interrelationships among the following topics: using scientific method; cell structure and function, DNA and genetics, ecology and ecosystems, and the human body system compared to animals. This class will be accompanied by engaging lab experiments and will use real professional-grade laboratory equipment. Students will have the opportunity to participate in leadership activities through involvement in the FFA. They are required to keep a record book and have a supervised agricultural project.
