What is Concurrent Enrollment?
This program allows high school students to be enrolled in two schools simultaneously. Generally, it refers to high school students taking a community college class. While most students access this during the summer, some students may choose to also take a class during the fall or spring semester.
Steps for Concurrent Enrollment
Apply to Palomar College - A few days after applying you will be emailed your Palomar ID#. (If you have taken a previous course at Palomar, you already have it)
Complete the K12 Special Admissions Form (Only need to do once while at Palomar)
Complete the Add Form (only needed if you are under the age of 16, complete it each semester you attend)
Submit all forms to the Palomar Admissions Office:
Walk it in person to the Student Services Center or
Email forms to admissions@palomar.edu
Enroll in classes and pay fees. (The course is free, the student pays a student fee and books if needed)
Once the schedule comes out, students will have an enrollment date in their MyPalomar account.
Please see the Future Center if you have any questions.
